We arrived early at the Olia after a weeks sailing and on arrival we were met by George who manages the hotel. George gave us a comprehensive introduction to the hotel and places to see and visit and the ways to get there. We dropped our bags at reception and sat by the pool and had a few drinks and had something to eat at the restaurant. The hotel overlooks the New port and sailing marina at Tourlos. There are enough sun loungers around the pool for people and gentle easy listening music playing in the background. The hotel is quirky and all rooms have there own entrances and very clean and spacious with great air-con, most rooms from what I could tell could view the sea from them. There is a bus stop right outside the Olia, which goes to and from the Airport that is on the way to the New port for 3 Euros. and the Sea Bus is 5 minutes walk that will take you to Mykonos town for 2 Euros or the Seajet and Ferry terminals to take you to a multiple of other islands. Breakfast is a buffet and plenty of choice with hot bacon, sausages and eggs and meats, cheeses and fruits.

There is nothing you could not love about this hotel! The location is amazing, a ten minute stroll from the ferry Wharf and twenty minute walk into town. The hotel is so beautiful and well cared for and the rooms are stunning, so traditional that I felt like I'd walked onto the set of the movie Mamma Mia! Breakfast was an absolute delight with everything so fresh and tasty and caters to a very large variety of tastes. Saving the best till last - the staff, so warm and welcoming and absolutely nothing was a problem. This is an exceptional hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Mykonos, I wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else to stay. There may be a few fancier joints on the island but they wouldn't come close to what The Olia Hotel offers.

The guy at reception who I dealt with the most Geórgios was an absolute gem of a man. Very friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived, he was very accommodating and super helpful with anything and everything we needed. He made us feel right at home instantly. I didn't get the womans name in the restraunt, but exactly the same again, and insured that our sons food was free of gluten when we ate there. Very awesome stay. Relaxed as with family of 5 and plenty of room in the suite for us. Very close to the port, it is easy to get to town on the sea bus for €2 per person. Very clean and would definitely stay again when we return. I don't usually take the time to leave a review, but this was exceptional. Awesome pool and amazing views.

- We got a free upgrade to a room with sea view :-) - The property is at walking distance from Port of Mykonos - Right in front of the hotel there is a sandy path descending down to sea level which you can take to either reach the port or stop halfway at the Seabus station to take a ferry to the old port/centre of Mykonos - Rooms are well-lit and spacious and are provided with towels, toiletries, hair dryer, fridge and a safe. - Staff is very friendly and hospitable - There is a swimming pool right in front of the building that's open every day until sunset

The man at the reception was great! He was very nice and friendly. He gave us good advise about things to do and where to eat in Mykonos! The hotel and restaurant staff was great and we really liked the greek salad in the restaurant and the breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a nice balcony. We were sailing, so the location was perfect for us (near the port). If you want to visit Mykonos city center, then the location might seem a bit remote but you can always take the seabus or a taxi.
